Rachel is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist practicing as an Integrative Nutritionist with the Penny George Institute for Health and Healing. Prior to this, she held various positions within dietetics, including food service, clinical dietetics and management. She has a Masters degree in Nutrition from the University of Minnesota and specialty training in weight management and food sensitivities. As an nutritionist, Rachel uses "a food as medicine" approach to help people achieve improved health.

Take Action Program for Weight Management is a highly successful 12-week program for people who want to lose weight and keep it off. The program combines a personalized fitness profile with a body composition measurement, personal exercise training session, nutrition consultation with a resting metabolism measurement and an integrative health and wellness coaching session. Twelve weekly group sessions cover topics including nutrition, fitness and overall wellness. A comprehensive Take Action manual is provided for ongoing reference.
