Description
Take Action Program for Weight Management is a highly successful 12-week program for people who want to lose weight and keep it off. The program combines a personalized fitness profile with a body composition measurement, personal exercise training session, nutrition consultation with a resting metabolism measurement and an integrative health and wellness coaching session. Twelve weekly group sessions cover topics including nutrition, fitness and overall wellness. A comprehensive Take Action manual is provided for ongoing reference.




Pre-requisites
There are 4 intake appointments to complete before class begins. These are 1:1 in-person sessions and are included in the package price. **Due to the COVID pandemic these appointment will be done via Zoom virtual meeting or phone until further notice**
1. Fitness Profile (60 min)
2. Personal Training (60 min)
3. Nutrition consultation with metabolism test (60 min)**we are not currently doing the metabolism testing**
4. Wellness Coaching (60 min)
Additional Information
Allina employees must sign Program Payroll Agreement prior to class.

Registration closes 1 week before class starts.

**Allina employees must attend 10 of the 12 online classes LIVE to receive Well being points and get the full discount for the class.

About Creator
Jeannie is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with a bachelor's degree in food and nutrition and corporate fitness from Concordia College. She is also a Certified Health & Wellness Coach through Wellcoaches and has completed the Nutrition and Cancer Course through the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine. Jeannie is a seasoned nutrition practitioner with knowledge and wisdom gained through a variety of career experiences who enjoys helping others make informed food choices since food is medicine and fuel. One way Jeannie shares her passion is by teaching group classes to help others improve their overall health through good nutrition and healthy lifestyle practice. Jeannie is a licensed facilitator for the Am I Hungry? - Mindful Eating program, and she also teaches Take Action Weight Management classes. Jeannie is available for BodyGem metabolism testing and individual nutrition counseling.
