Maureen Rose Doran is a registered, licensed dietitian, yoga & mindfulness meditation teacher.

A long time student of mindfulness, Maureen has taught yoga & mindfulness meditation for 12+ years in corporate, community and healthcare settings.

At the Penny George Institute for Health & Healing, Maureen provides integrative nutrition consultations and is the senior facilitator of the Mindfulness Training program and Resilient Life Program.

THIS CLASS IS BEING OFFERED ONLINE ONLY. YOU MUST ATTEND 5 of 6 CLASSES LIVE TO AVOID BEING CHARGED THE FULL CLASS FEE OF $160 AND TO EARN WELL BEING POINTS. The Mindfulness Training program is designed to help participants recover a calm, stable mind and lasting contentment even in the face of difficulty. This six-week in-person series offers highly effective tools to help manage stress and achieve a higher state of well-being. Participants will learn to stabilize their minds and increase resilience through mindfulness practices such as meditation and yoga. Well Being points are awarded within 4 weeks of completion to eligible participants.

THIS CLASS IS BEING OFFERED ONLINE ONLY. ***Participants must attend 5 of 6 classes LIVE to earn points and avoid being changed for the full class.*** Resilience is the process of adapting well in the face of significant sources of stress - such as family and relationship problems, serious health problems or workplace and financial stressors. It means "bouncing back" from difficult experiences. Resilience is not a trait that people either have or do not have-we all have aspects of resilience. The behaviors, thoughts and actions that build resilience can be learned and developed in anyone. In this 6-week series, we'll practice the skills proven to help build resilience of mind, body and spirit. Skills such as mindfulness, optimal nutrition, movement and cultivating a healthy relationship w/ self and others will be taught and practiced in class. By practicing these skills regularly, you can strengthen your ability to bounce back from adversity and to grow and thrive in your professional and personal life. Points are awarded within 4 weeks of completion. In order for us to provide the best possible service to all our clients, it is very important that you commit to the class for which you have registered. All participants must give a minimum 7-day notice prior to the first class session to withdraw from the program. This allows us the opportunity to offer your seat to another participant. No refunds will be given if you cancel your registration less than 7 days before the first class session, and you will not be allowed to transfer your registration fee to a future class. Once your group session has begun, you may not switch to another group. Due to confidentiality concerns, you will not be able to attend another group's sessions for makeup dates.
